It's not how she'd normally do this, but she wants to see this thing's surprise up close when she kills it. Stealing the face of her friend is unforgivable.
She gets that sight, and then some. The illusion melts away once the fiery shaft pierces it's skin, and the monstrous creature flails wildly at her, screeching and hissing as it dies. She twists her wrist, the spell immolating more of it before she shoves it back into the muck and watches it flop down and continue to burn.
Silent for a long moment, Chandra only turns away after the thing is wholly consumed by the spreading flame. It's not how she'd normally do things...but that felt right.]
