Papyrus pauses mid-step, wobbling and catching himself by crouching again, as another voice arrives. It's hard to pay much attention over the sounds of Sans crying in song, an awful sound he hasn't heard in ages and never really wanted to hear again, but they're fare enough from the water that he thinks they're safe, and he focuses on what the new arrival's offering.
