Unfortunately, it makes all too much sense.
[Edelgard's voice is unintentionally sharp, her gaze darting from Leslie to these fae creatures, eyes chips of violet ice. If this were not a dream, she would likely unsling her axe from her shoulders and make her displeasure clear with it's blade. But it is a dream, and so it's best to simply let it roll off.]
You may be too young to have encountered this...but sometimes creatures that are not human think of us as things to be poked and prodded, or ordered about. Some see us as lesser beings, and those beings are wrong.
