Based on my own observations, these are the fae of this world. [ Which she knew sounded like a far cry from the spritely and, while at times chaotic, overall friendly faeries they knew within their own. ]

But in all honesty... they resemble humans more than they probably want to admit. [ The conceit that bordered on cruelty, the arrogance to assume oneself superior to other sapient beings based purely on breeding and ability. ]
