Weather
- After the snows of Feoveuer, the weather seems even warmer by the time Mareuer comes around. The skies are generally clear above the city, the sun shining high above. Temperatures are still a bit nippy in the morning and at night, with cold mists in the wee hours, but most of the days are pleasant and citizens can be seen working in their shirtsleeves while it’s sunny out, despite it still being early in the year.
Even though in the Wilde the leaves are turning red and gold, the temperature difference is less striking around this time of year. It’s crisp there too, but not unpleasant. After a couple of months of inordinately severe weather, it seems nature has finally calmed down at least for these few weeks. More and more animals in the Wilde are also taking note of the nice weather and the opportunity to start fattening up for winter.
This month, the new moon occurs on the 13th of Mareuer, bringing with it the usual difficulties for Mirrorbound Witches, especially less experienced ones: the pull of their magic feels very strong but more difficult to contain and channel, and spells may backfire more easily if one isn’t careful. Of course, Monster face their own various challenges on the 28th, when the Sisters are at their fullest.
