Weather
- Iuneril brings with it a sort of muggy heat that can be stifling for those who prefer drier or colder climates. The air hangs thick and the most relief comes from the cooler, salty breeze coming in off the harbor. With the River Temese flowing through the city freshly tidied up, it is often found full of Merrow, or just those who want to take a dip and cool off. With Litha approaching, all eyes remain on the sky, still wary of last year's red skies of ill omen, but they remain partially overcast and only a bit pinker during the misty sunrises.
The weather remains fine for sailing, a good sign for the ships that will be leaving out after Litha on long trading voyages. As the heat rises in Aefenglom, the temperatures drop in the Wilde, plunging into winter. Small snow flurries are common around the Northern Outpost, and many of the living, uninfected creatures that have been bothersome have retreated into burrows for the season.
The Sisters will be out in full on the 5th, only somewhat hidden by misty skies, and thankfully their pull on the Monster population much will be much less than the previous month. The moons will be new and dark on the 21st, the beginning of Litha, which could lead to problems for Mirrorbound Witches with an excess of magic, who will feel, again, quite the pull to use it. Restraint is necessary, since magic is frowned upon during festivals!
