Mareuer marks the start of the rainy season, as spring hesitantly creeps into being around the middle of the month. The clouds pour down mostly gentle, intermittent showers, but also a few thunderstorms as the temperatures rise from 'chilly' to merely 'cool'. The locals, especially the farmers, welcome the rain; a dry Mareuer doesn't bode well for the crops, they say, and farmers and gardeners alike busy themselves preparing for planting season.

Out in the Wilde, ever the opposing season, autumn is rearing its head, turning the colors of the leaves; at least in those less heavily infected places where the trees still bear leaves. The temperature, as it cools, reaches an equilibrium with the weather around Aefenglom, though the rain far outside the city comes with high winds as well.

The Sisters will be full and partly hidden by the grey clouds of a brewing thunderstorm on the 9th, but their effects on the populace will be as strong as ever.

Regarding this Month's Application Cap

Hello, Aefenglom! It's app month again already! Based on the current size of the game, we've decided that this month's cap is going to be 30 applications. We will not be putting a limit on reserves, but a reserve will not necessarily guarantee you a spot.

Reserves will expire after the first 48 hours of applications being opened this round, and those first 48 hours will be open only to those who have reserves. If the cap has not been reached after 48 hours, applications will be open to those without reserves until 30 applications are accepted, or until apps close. We do recommend placing a reserve and having your application ready to go when apps open on the 24th.

It will be first come, first serve. We will try to push out revisions and rejections as soon as possible throughout - rejections will not count toward the cap. We will close applications as soon as we've reached 30 acceptances regardless of the date but if more applications are submitted than can be accepted, you may be asked to try again next round.

We may adjust this process at any point if we feel it's necessary, as this is all new. We greatly appreciate all the interest in Aefenglom and all the enthusiasm our players have, but we need to keep the size of the game manageable, as Aefenglom tends to be pretty lore-heavy with very involved players (which we love!). Please bear with us in the coming month! All relevant pages will be updated before reserves open to reflect this new information.

Please note that the May round's cap may be more or less than 30, depending on the size of the game at that time, but if everything runs smoothly this time around, the process will likely be the same.
